DEPUTY SECRETARIES CELEBRATE JULY 1

Deputy Chief Secretary Cheuk Wing-hing, Deputy Financial Secretary Michael Wong and Deputy Secretary for Justice Cheung Kwok-kwan, enjoyed July 1 dining discounts at a North Point restaurant and celebrated Hong Kong's return to the motherland with members of the public today.

Enjoying the festive atmosphere, they learnt that citizens welcome the special offers provided by different quarters of the community as led by the Government.

To celebrate the 26th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government has taken the lead to roll out a series of special offers with support from various sectors.

Nearly 1,500 restaurants are offering 29% discounts or other incentives for the public to share the joy of this special occasion.
