The volume of Hong Kong’s total goods exports increased 14.6% year-on-year in November 2021, the Census & Statistics Department announced today.
The volume of goods imports for the month rose 10.3% over November 2020.
Prices of goods exports and imports increased 9.5% and 9.2% year-on-year for the month.
On a seasonally adjusted basis, the volume of goods exports decreased 3.1% in the three-month period ending November 2021 compared with the preceding three months, while the volume of goods imports dropped 4.4%.
Comparing the first 11 months of 2021 with the same period in 2020, the volume of total goods exports rose 20.6%, while that of goods imports increased 19.1%.
