From November 2024 to January 2025, the seasonally adjusted unemployment rate stood at 3.1%, the Census & Statistics Department announced today.
The underemployment rate remained at 1.1%.
Total employment was 3,716,600, down 2,300 from the October-to-December period of 2024, while the labour force dropped 5,700 to 3,826,700.
The number of unemployed people dropped from 113,600 to 110,100. Meanwhile, the number of underemployed people decreased from 43,500 to 43,000.
