The Government is inviting citizens to submit their views on its proposed updates to Schedule 2 to the Toys & Children’s Products Safety Ordinance in order to implement up-to-date safety standards promulgated by the relevant standards institutions for four classes of children’s products listed in the schedule.
The products involved are bunk beds for domestic use, child safety barriers for domestic use, children’s high chairs and multipurpose high chairs for domestic use, and wheeled child conveyances.
People may send in their views via email by December 31.
