Financial Secretary Paul Chan will attend the Global Financial Leaders’ Investment Summit tomorrow after the Centre for Health Protection determined that his infection case was a recovered one and isolation was not required.
Mr Chan took a PCR test at Hong Kong International Airport after arrival, and left the airport under the “test-and-go” arrangement.
He went through the procedures in line with the entry quarantine requirements for those arriving in Hong Kong from overseas regions.
Having assessed Mr Chan’s case and evaluated the PCR test results, the centre considered that it was a recovered case and was not contagious.
The Financial Secretary will attend the summit the next day but will not take part in meals.
