ANNIVERSARY STAMP ISSUES UNVEILED

Hongkong Post will issue on July 1 the commemorative stamps for the 25th anniversary of both the establishment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the stationing of the Chinese People's Liberation Army in Hong Kong.

The set on the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong SAR includes stamps in four denominations, a souvenir sheet and other philatelic products.

As for the 25th anniversary of the stationing of the PLA in Hong Kong, a stamp sheetlet will be issued to mark that important occasion.

A hand-back date-stamping service will be provided on July 1 from 9am to 2pm at all 37 philatelic offices for official first day covers/souvenir covers/privately made covers bearing the first day of issue indication and a local address.
