The Commerce & Economic Development Bureau today disbursed subsidies to all 166 eligible applicants of the Pyrotechnics & Special Effects Operators Subsidy Scheme under the sixth round of the Anti-epidemic Fund.
The scheme opened for applications on February 18.
A $10,000 one-off subsidy will be offered to each eligible special effects operator and assistant holding at least one valid licence between February 1 last year and January 31 this year issued under the Entertainment Special Effects Ordinance and its subsidiary legislation, and who have not benefitted from any other sector-specific subsidy scheme under the fund since January.
